Reflections

What's up guys? Lets reflect on the year so far. I had a good start in Doha. Won 2 matches against some good players and lost in quarters to Davidenko in a very close match, who won the tournament later, beating Federer in semis and Nadal in finals. In Melbourne I played even better reaching 4th round. I think I could have made an upset against Nadal if I didn't have some stomach problems the night before. But thats life. You can't always be 100%. Than came Zagreb. I didn't play that well but at least I was home for a little while. After Zagreb I went to US for Memphis and Delray tournaments. Memphis was great fun. I won 2 good matches but kinda played bad against Isner. But I got to go to Grizzlies game(Heat was in town), Elvis house, visit some great places like sun studios and world famous Ernestine's & Hazel's bar/restaurant which used to be a brothel. Delray was fun also. I played very well, reaching the finals. Then I had to go back to Croatia for Davis cup. We won but I was only there for a few days before going back to US to Indian Wells. It was a lot of treveling in short period of time and that's probably what made my achilles feel worst. I had that problem for some time but it was mostly under control. In IW it started hurting a lot more and I needed to warm up for a much longer time. So Indian Wells and Miami tournaments was not fun because I had to play with pain. So I had to pull out from Houston and Monte Carlo and am doing therapy right now. Hopefully I will be ready to come back on tour in Rome or Belgrade. Take care guys Ivo
